From the crown to the executioner’s blade.

This song is inspired by Anne Boleyn, her rise from the Tudor court to become Queen of England and the extraordinary fall that followed. It traces the ambition, politics and accusations surrounding her final days before her imprisonment in the Tower of London and execution by sword in 1536.
