Inspired by the legend of the Bell Witch of Tennessee, the mysterious entity said to have tormented the Bell family with knocks, voices, physical attacks and eerie knowledge of scripture.
Known as “Kate,” the presence became infamous for its hatred of John Bell, later claiming responsibility for his death before vanishing and, according to legend, returning seven years later.
