Who gets called holy, and who gets called wicked?
Inspired by Ireland’s uneasy line between witch and wise woman, this song draws on Biddy Early, Alice Kyteler and Petronilla de Meath.
It is a story of healing, fear, faith and the power to decide which women were holy, which were wicked, and which would burn.
“You Didn’t Burn Us All” turns that history into a defiant refrain: accusation could destroy a life, but it could not erase every story.
